About Composition
Teneligliptin:
Teneligliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitor. It is used along with exercise and diet for the control of blood sugar level
Metformin Hydrochloride:
Metformin is a biguanide and it prevents the damage of kidney and blindness and problems in nerves, loss of limbs and sexual functional problems.
Mechanism of Action
Teneligliptin:
It increases the release of insulin from the pancreas and causes the decrease in the release of hormone that raises the blood sugar levels.
Metformin:
It delays the absorption of glucose from the intestine and increases the sensitivity to insulin or lowers the production of glucose from liver.

It is 90% bound to plasma proteins

It is metabolized in the liver
